The most dangerous transfers of the summer?
Club → National team → Club
We are right in the middle of the transfer season. But the transfers carrying the highest performance risk are rarely the ones happening from club to club.
In many cases, those moves are actually safer because of the extensive medical screening involved. Instead, the most sensitive periods occur when players move from club to national team, and when they return from international duty to their clubs.
The recent Aspetar paper on World Cup preparation describes the club-to-country transition as one of the most biologically and operationally vulnerable phases of the elite performance cycle.
Players arrive with different:
- 01Accumulated match loads
- 02Recovery states
- 03Tissue readiness
- 04Injury histories
- 05Travel burdens
- 06Training exposures
Being fit is not the same as being load-ready. Read that again.
The GPS data may even fall perfectly within the expected ranges. But did the player have games in different time zones? What was his sleep quantity and quality? Does he have minor medical complaints? And more importantly: what is the context behind the numbers?
Like the paper recommends, building unified player histories is necessary for accurate, individualized decision-making. That requires consistent reporting and proper handover between clubs and national teams.
So we built Reports

Reports, our newest feature, allows users to create fully customized player reports by combining data from every module in the platform. Medical status, match exposure, training load, individual development plans, wellness, nutrition, travel and recovery context: all brought together in one clear handover.
Collecting and sharing numbers is easy. It is the full picture and context that protect players.
Do it right. EVOLVE.
